If you’ve visited us over the last few months you might’ve seen a new face here at Babylon.
This is Molly our new retail manager. Molly has worked in retail for over 15 years and came to us from The Rose Centre, Wych Cross where she was retail manager.
Working alongside Rachael, our head of horticulture, Molly is expanding and improving the range of products we sell in The Shop.
Molly says of her role:
“It’s important to work with local suppliers and small independent businesses. Keeping it local is at the heart of everything we do here.”
Molly has already started to make her mark, and over the next few weeks you’ll start to see new products arriving in The Shop. From wrist warmers and woolly hats through to quirky prints and other home accessories.
Molly is also hosting our late night shopping event, where you can find unique gifts and explore all our retail areas after hours on Thursday 6th November. You can find out more, and book your free ticket here.
Christmas wreath bar
We’re really looking forward to one of Molly’s ideas, the ‘Christmas Wreath bar’ where you’ll be able to make your own using different items – think of it as a pick ‘n’ mix!
Decor for your garden
We’ve also expanded the garden decor that we sell to include rustic steel water bowls and impressive Yakuta water jars alongside more decorative items such as the serene buddha and the torso of David. Come and have a wander and explore!
