The Secret Kitchen is our regular evening dining event where our chefs show off their skill and knowledge with a tasting menu full of delicious, seasonal flavours.
The menu
Tarka green split pea and Babylon lovage soup, foccacia with Babylon fig leaf butter
Birchden Farm asparagus, Babylon wild garlic hollandaise, parmesan pan grattato, chive flowers
Oyster mushroom calamari, matsutake mayo.
Soy, mirin, lao man ga (Szechuan pepper chilli crisp)
Then choose one of the following – all accompanied by fattoush salad with green tahini dressing
Lebanese spiced charcoal grilled ‘Jacobs’ lamb kofte, baba ganoush, zhoug, pomegranate
or
Lebanese spiced Cornish monkfish kofte, baba ganoush, zhoug, pomegranate
or
Lentil & bulgar kofte, baba ganoush, zhoug, pomegranate
Chocolate mousse, olive oil, sea salt, hazelnut praline
