A series of talks from local people who have a close relationship with the land they work with.

The Sustainable Land Project is a free event featuring a programme of passionate speakers discussing their experience of working harmoniously with the land and the benefits that they achieve as a result.

Hidden Spring are makers of fine English wine who are based in Horam in the heart of East Sussex. The owner Richard, will talk to us about the history of wine making at Hidden Spring, the current sustainability plans at the vineyard and how climate change has catapulted English wines into the global spotlight.

Landscape Recovery Manager for Ashdown Forest

From Ashdown to Africa and Back Again
Mark has spent time in Uganda working in the national parks and has bought the conservation skills learnt there back to the Ashdown Forest.

He will discuss how value-based relationships between people, place and nature provide a stronger platform for partnerships to deliver conservation. Mark believes that this is as relevant here as to Africa or Asia.

Held at Babylon Eco Centre, a welcoming destination for food, horticulture and events located on the edge of the Ashdown Forest.

TIMINGS
Arrive at Babylon Eco Centre from 4.30pm. We aim to start each talk at 5.00pm.

COST
This is a free event. Tickets are limited to 50 per event.
