Heath + Down comes to Babylon

The workshop here at Babylon is being transformed into a showroom for Nicky Guymer an interior stylist based in East Sussex.

We’re really excited about having Nicky here, bringing her energy and enthusiasm to Babylon.

Our crack team – ‘Dangerous Dave’ and Henry – are working hard to transform the workshop. Part of the transformation includes reusing a beautiful wooden, double glazed sash window from one of our local friends – Emmett, which just looks stunning round the side of the building.

Nicky will be opening soon, for interior styling services and inspiration.

So, what is an interior stylist I hear you ask? As Nicky says on her website: “Interior styling is a more affordable, accessible and less invasive way of creating a room that you love. The results can be much quicker to achieve and the investments you make can last a lifetime. Alongside the more permanent side of decoration (which we also do!), such as paint, tiles and flooring, it can be employed when you have a shell of a new space that doesn’t quite feel like a home, or utilised to breathe life into tired rooms that have lost their purpose.”
