The Nursery

Since 1966 our nursery has been tending and growing local flora and fauna.

The Garden centre & Nursery at Babylon has been in this location since 1966 and has evolved with every owner since then. We are fortunate to have one of the largest greenhouses in the county and grow the majority of our stock onsite.

Our aim is to work closely with local suppliers as well as cultivating plants indigenous to East Sussex. The Nursery is open 9.30am to 5.00pm Tuesday to Saturday and 10.00am to 4.00pm on Sunday. Our team of staff are on hand to answer questions and offer advice on planting and caring for your garden as well as provide inspiration for your outdoor space.

Our long term plan is to build a garden centre that embraces technology, sustainability and innovation. We believe that it is our responsibility to take care of the environment, and we strive to do so in everything that we do. From our products and services, to our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on our local environment and community.
